CEC's mission is to provide biblically based educational programs which help all ages come to know Christ through his teachings and help all ages grow in their faith.

We can do this by providing a spiritual and educational environment which:

1. Is rooted in the Bible;
2. Helps build a closer relationship with God;
3. Nurtures the growth of Christian faith thru biblical studies;
4. Teaches Christian values; and
5. Encourages the study of God's word.

Our goal for 2003 is to increase the participation of the youth and adults of Kirkwood in the Sunday School and youth programs.

Christian Education Committee meets every 3rd Sunday, following the 11am worship service.

We are responsible for:

• All Sunday School Programs
• Youth and Children Programs
• Confirmation Classes
• 3rd Grade Bible Presentations
• Leadership Training, Teacher Workshops
• Youth Camps, Conferences, Retreats
• Wednesday Night Bible Study
• Vacation Bible School
• Receptions for Teachers and High School Graduates
• Rally Day
