Serving Our Community

Kirkwood is passionate about serving our community. A few examples include regularly serving breakfast at MUST. We have a Little Free Pantry and a Little Free Library on our campus. In the summer, we host families connected to Family Promise. We pack lunches for MUST's summer lunch program. Our Vacation Bible School always includes a couple service projects. We partner with Riverside Elementary to provide supplies and support to teachers and students. Every December, we provide clothing and gifts to families connected to SafePath.

Twice a year, we forego regular Worship for a morning of service. Previous projects completed on Service Sunday include: making dog toys for the Paulding County Animal Shelter, painting encouraging signs to go along the road in front of our church, filling toiletry bags for the Men's Extension Program, roadside trash clean up, writing letters about causes we care about to our elected officials, assemble raised garden beds for a nursing home, filling product kits for Period Poverty for MUST, sewing dresses for "Little Dresses for Africa."
