Ashley Knight, Administrative Assistant

Child of the Manse and a life-long Presbyterian, Ashley began her journey as an infant on the campus of Columbia Theological Seminary, as her father earned his MDiv throughout the first years of her life. Whether in Chickamauga, Atlanta, or Cartersville, she always had a home in the Presbyterian church (office, especially….she’s been folding bulletins since she was old enough to walk). Ashley is a graduate of Cartersville High School. She trained at Chattahoochee Technical College and earned her certification and licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician. She worked 911 in Sandy Springs for three years, earning multiple commendations and life save awards. For the last two years, Ashley has worked as a COVID team supervisor for Georgia Department of Public Health, supervising 10 tracers/investigators, working hard to limit the impact of COVID on the north Georgia area. Ashley is the proud mother to two children, Isla and River, and enjoys cross stitching, true crime documentaries, and camping in her free time.
